Rescued by Kuilima Estates at Turtle Bay
We hade made reservations with a Airbnb vacation rental company for 4 nights, and when we arrived the rental was not as advertised, not clean, and not safe. So I reached out to Kuilima Estates for the remaining 3 nights, they were very friendly, and extremely helpful in finding us accommodations on very short notice and we hade a great time - very nice place. My daughter, son and I had the most wonderful experience at turtle bay estates. The room was so clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to stay in Hawaii. It was easy and stress free. We will be staying there again someday, I just know it.

his is my 3rd rental at Turtle Bay and we enjoyed our stay. The unit is just as depicted, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, with everything needed to prepare meals for the family. Air con in the bedroom and lounge was so appreciated as summer in Hawaii is HOT. Fans alone are not enough. The bedroom is a good size with comfortable King bed. Also love the fact that unit has own washing machine and dryer. The only suggestion to the owner would be to replace the sofa sleeper as its an older model and not very comfortable. The sliding doors to the lanai also need attention as they are difficult to open. This was brought to the attention of the property managers office while we were there. Apart from these minor things we had a great time. Loved the pool and quiet setting to totally relax. Dined at Leilei's which was soooo good.

Protea 1-bdrm downstairs unit
Good location, parking not too far away, but the unit itself was very basic with just the "required" necessities. There was a regular drip coffeemaker but no coffee for even the first day. There was a mini bar of soap in the bathroom; sink was newer and nice. In the kitchen, a mini bottle of dish soap & a wet dish sponge laying inside the sink--I wasn't sure if the sponge was what the previous guests used to wash their dishes with, or if the cleaners used it to clean the sink so I used very hot water and soap to wash it out before using it for our dishes. Suggestions: a new, unopened dish sponge, a little coffee, and bedroom curtains that filter out the outdoor building lighting. We were not in the unit much since we were in a golf tournament with a group so it provided an adequate place to sleep and shower.

Great Location
This was a perfect home base to explore and enjoy the north shore of Oahu. The condo was neat and clean. There was a nice view of the golf course and it was close to the tennis courts and pool. The unit had air conditioning and ceiling fans in both the master bedroom as well as the living room area. The master bedroom had a full size bed and the mattress wasn't the most comfortable that I've slept on but it was adequate. The couch in the living room had a pull out sleeper mattress which was also not overly comfortable. All in all, however, we would consider using this rental again. The price was great and the location was excellent with easy access to beaches and north shore activities.

We enjoyed our stay here. I liked the simplicity and uncluttered condo. The bathroom has been updated so that was a bonus as well as a new fridge. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. There were some baby cockroaches but that was not a deal breaker. We would stay here again.

5 th stay at the estates��
This was our 5th time to stay at the estates and feel it is a great value and experience. We love the north shore and the slower more authentic aloha feel. This condo was very comfortable and updated except for the bathroom but I’m sure that will be updated soon. The condo is listed to sleep 4 but the mattress in sleeper sofa is not comfortable at all so if the third person just sleeps on the couch then it’s perfect.

This unit is a great find! We were very pleased with our 6 night stay. Great view, clean. Easy check in / check out. Nice pools. Super comfy bedroom bed, the pull out bed not so much. No major cons, only thing I would recommend is getting the stains on the lower outside fridge removed. It is only cosmetic but that is also first impression when someone walks in. We tried to clean it with no luck. Overall, would recommend to others and would stay here again.

Perfect little Place!
We frequently do little "stay-cays" at the Condos because we can always find a good rate and it includes a kitchen. This was probably one out favorite ones. It was pretty modern. Ultimate Turtle Bay Condo
This was an amazing place to stay. Like mentioned in other reviews, this condo is a little older and is maybe less updated. That being said, it was the perfect rental. It was very clean! (Especailly in all the places you REALLY want clean. ex. the bedding, inside of fridge, and bathroom)It had all the needed amenities including stove, fridge, coffee maker, dishes, and AIR CONDITIONER in the bedroom. It had cable t.v. and internet. The closets were stocked with extra blankets,pillows and towels, as well as ironing boards, laundry detergent, toilet paper and basic cleaning items. The area was very quiet and beautiful. The pool was close by, and the resort was very welcoming. It was a quick walk to the beach and to the resort, where we were welcome to eat at the bar and watch the sunset. The resort has one of the most beautiful beaches, and we went to all of them. We will be staying here again with out a doubt and sending all our family and friends there. This is the way to vacation, away from the traffic and crowds of Waikiki or Honolulu. Although communication with property management was minimal and only through e-mail and key drop off, they were very helpful and ready to assist with anything.

A quiet retreat
This was our second time at Turtle Bay. We love it because we can walk to the beach, lots of hiking and biking paths, a close drive to many amazing beaches and to the historic surf town Haleiwa. There are two championship golf courses for those who like to golf and a very reasonable 5 dollars for a buck of balls and use of the driving range. Taco Tuesday at Surfers the bar in the hotel is a must.

Great Stay at Turtle Bay!
Condo was very nice...Right along the gjolf course with great view...Was NOT happy with the $100.00 cleaning fee, especially when we were TOLD to make certain we ran the vacum, and clean the condo BEFORE WE wife would have done that anyway, but the only thing left for the cleaning staff was to put the towels in the dryer...Had a great stay...Would do it all over fact, we tried on seven occasions to call the management company to see if there were any condos for sale that we could look at, but all we kept geting was a recording...Other than, the two concerns, we had a absolute super time and would reommend Turtle Bay to everyone who does NOT want the crazy downtown Honolulu lifestyle all night...This was my 29th trip to Hawaii,and we always stayed at the Outrigger...

Was delightful staying 114 W. Kuilima! It was very clean and organized. Particularly like the sheets (Eygptian cotton) on the bed. The kitchen could use a couple of additional items...scissors and tongs. Otherwise, it was all good!

I have been in Hawaii for 13 times, twice in this unit 114 West.I ́ve notice that it has been all still enough for us.We love staying in the condominium.The negative point about the unit is that there was only 2 bath towels and also I think it shoud have more tools in the kitchen(more knives,more tupperware;there was only one bed sheet).

As a family group we have rented for over 14yrs at Kuilima and have been in over probably 15 different units. This is a good example of the one bedroom units that is good for one person or a couple. The wifi/internet did not work here but I was able to piggyback off of another close by unit.

There were several repairs that needed to be taken care if before it should be rented out again. It was clean, no bugs or ants, a few large cocroaches, due to faulty screens I am sure. There was minimal kitchen equipment, we have been staying at Turtle Bay for 20 years, and this was the poorest kept condo we have ever had. We love it there and would always recommend it to others. Just this one condo needed work, and some updates. Was supposed to have wifi but it didn't.

The location is excellent. A very short walk to the Turtle Bay beach, which is nice and calm for swimming when the surf is up. Wonderful property to go for walks and access to lots of beaches. Kuilima condos are older and this unit hasn't been updated, but it is a good price and we were satisfied with everything. It is as we expected. The kitchen had enough pots/pans etc. and was very clean. There is a small TV in the bedroom and larger flat screen for living room. Overall was comfortable to stay with our 9month old and staff was very nice when we dealt with them.

We frequently go to Turtle Bay for golf tournaments for my sons. It is one of my favorite spots in all of Hawaii. We live on Maui. I love the resort. It has a great beach for swimming and my son went body boarding after golf. I rented a bike and cruised all the trails and went on long walks.The condos are clean and have everything you need.

I absolutely love staying at the condos in Kuilima. Cindy and the staff at the Estates of Turtle Bay are just awesome! I would recommend that the television in unit 114 be replaced, but other than that my stay-cation was just what I needed :)

I continue to be happy with the services provided by The Estates at Turtle Bay rental team! I was there for the birth of a grandchild so renting for 28 days and being in close proximity to my family was very special. When I originally rented this condo, I was not told that it wasn't close to the ocean or the kind of view it actually had. Lucky to have a golf course view, but also the highway. Had to walk quite a bit to get to the hotel and beach.

Turtle bay is the best place to stay in the North Shore of Oahu.Everything around is very beautiful, tha garden, the beach, the restaurants in the main hotel. I will be back for sure!

10 Year Anniversary
We loved the location. Excellent access to everything we needed. Plenty of beaches close by. Be sure to try the Chocolate Haupia Pie @ Ted's Bakery. The best advice to avoid any unwanted insect visitors is to keep everything in the fridge - no bugs in sight!

The general property was very nice. However, the specific apartment we stayed in needed some work. The bathroom was where it showed the most: cracked and ugly repairs in the tub, very worn out cabinet over the sink. Cooking utensils provided in the kitchen also were very limited and in poor condition. Nonstick surfaces were badly scratched. If there was an alternative pot or pan, that is what I used. We also smashed 3 large cockroaches on different evenings. Since we are permanent residents of Hawaii, we know about insects here but that would freak out people from the mainland.
