Our Favorite Place to Stay
We love this Turtle Bay condo, we have stayed in many over the years, but this one is our favorite. It's perfect for our family and it feels like home to us. We also appreciate that it hasn't been recently renovated so it's a little more affordable. We have stayed here several times and will continue to book this unit every year that we go back. You cannot beat the location and the beautiful surroundings of Turtle Bay. We play tennis at the courts on the property each morning and enjoy a dip in the crisp, pristine pool each day as well. I highly recommend this property.

us and it is nice having plenty of room w/kitchen and washer/dryer. This particular unit was a little outdated but it was clean and had everything we needed.

Oahu 2020 Family Trip to Turtle Bay
We had a great stay at condo 48 Kulima East. The condo had exactly the space we needed. While appropriately furnished, the living area could have had a more comfortable couch. The kitchen was reasonably appointed, however there were only 2 glasses for cold drinks, and two wine glasses. The stove also had a couple of elements that were not working. It was nice to have toothbrush holders in the bathrooms. Everything else was fine, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We particularly liked the proximity to the pool and got quite a bit of use out of the tennis courts. Supplying tennis balls would be a nice touch.
The property management and grounds keeping was superb. After delayed a delayed flight we arrived very late and when we had trouble getting in the gate we were quickly assisted and shown where to go. Lovely lady made sure we made it into the condo with our entry code before leaving us. Gardens and upkeep was fabulous. Beautiful and constant attention to the properties.

WE LOVE THIS CONDO
WE have stayed in this condo for the last three years and we love it. It's comfortable and has plenty of room for our family of 5. We love playing tennis and it's so nice to have courts right next to our condo. We will definitely continue to stay here.

We Loved It
We love this unit, it's the second time we have stayed there. Nothing is updated, but it's a great location and a great orientation. We really enjoy this condo and will continue to stay in this very one in years to come.

Good stay!
Great stay at the condo. It fit our needs well. The upstairs can get really hot but it wasn't bad enough to not sleep. The downstairs neighbors kept smoking cigars and other stuff, when we complained to rental company, they were quick to reply and told us how to take care of the issue. Luckily, the people left after 2 nights. Will stay in turtle bay again. Everything in the condo worked, the fridge was a little gross on the door but was clean inside.

Great deal for the price you pay
Location is fantastic. Condo is bright and very spacey just shows some wear and tear, especially the stained rugs.
Condo pros and cons;
pros; quiet, second floor, AC in bedroom and living room, 2 bathrooms, washer & dryer great to have clean clothes to go home, near Turtle Bay Beach
cons; musty / mildew smell, management office not very responsive, key didn’t work after a couple of days and we had to wait until the next morning for them to come out, stove tops loose, rugs old and stained, loft very hot and ceiling fan loud.
Overall, we would come back to the estates, not sure if we would come back to this unit unless they take out the rugs.

Turtle Bay retreat
Location was wonderful. Condo was nice and roomy but needing some repairs, like drain in bathroom sink was broken. I was frustrated with the lack of communication from management company. No contact for weeks after reservation and final details arrived by email only a day before check in. I understand the reasoning behind not sending lock box numbers too far in advance but earlier would have been nice. I'm one of those travelers who likes to get itinerary organized and of time, stick it in a folder or file, and review as needed. Don't need to keep all this info in my head while I'm supposed to be relaxing. Despite that I would stay again. The location is incredible and the condo layout was perfect for my family.

North Shore 2nd time renter
Excellent experience there is so much to do and explore on North Shore. Beach hoping, trails and doing activities off the tourist path is awesome. Property condition is great and always being updated and cared for like you would expect. If you like doing adventures and exploring on your own this place is for you! No one is waiting on you. We will certainly return again next year.

The stay at turtle bay is always top notch. This unit right near pool. As a mom i would prefer to have access to cleanig supplys. I have stayed at many units the absence of tp and shampoo etc is the missing touch other units have.

We were so pleased with all of the kekoa accommodations for our family. We checked in over the weekend and the property management made it easy for us to get into the gate and condo. Love the location and the activities on the groups were n perfect for the kids, pool and near by beach. Enjoyed the cool breeze and aloha spirit. Great location, unit was ok
Property was ok. It was generally pretty clean, but the fridge had a weird damp smell, and the burners on the stove didn't always work. The fact that there were only 5 towels in the unit was a little inconvenient, given the close proximity to the beach and pool, and there were four of us.

Older condo, but clean. TV are tiny and don't work, cupboard doors are falling off, toilet didn't work, ceiling fan sounds like a popcorn maker.....but who cares this is the North Shore!!!

Simple and good value
We have stayed at several of these condos in the past and rarely are our expectations not met.
This unit was more than suitable for our needs, and while a shade dated, was extremely clean and was a suitable size for our party.
The en suite bedroom was excellent, as was the generous loft. The kitchen cupboards were a little old, as were the TVs (small and distorting), but in general the furniture was great. The sofa was in particular was extremely comfortable!
Unfortunately the neighbors below were a little loud and their smoking wafted up into the condo, but other than that, we were very satisfied.

Recommendable property, overall a good experience
We only stayed for three nights, but compared to the full service hotel room we previously had on Kauai, it felt more like home. The check-in process was easy, as long as you take the time to read the instructions provided by the management, for late arrivals. Everything worked precisely as announced, so the recommendation is to really read through what you get from managment. We did have some trouble reaching the management beforehands, but apparently, due to heavy winds, the experienced a power outage when we tried to call. So no blame on them because it really was very windy.
As previously stated from others, the property could use some work especially on the closets in the kitchen area. We did not mind the minor imperfections. The place was clean, however the dishes and utensils, we did clean ourselves before usage, just to be save. They were OK, but not perfectly clean.
The one thing that we (rather my girlfriend) missed was a hair dryer. Other than that, we were very satisfied with our stay and can recommend the place.

Awesome Accomodations
Everything was perfect. It was a trip that my golf team will remember forever. Your office even saved me about $300.00 by down sizing the unit to match the amount of people in our party. It was extremely comfortable and spacescious.

The management company was very helpful. The condo was clean and ready. The kitchen could use some renovation. The kitchen sink leaks, and the kitchen cabinets have a moldy smell. The refrigerator is rusted from the lower part. The furniture in the living room would need to be changed. Everything else is good. The bedrooms and bathrooms are in a clean and good condition. The condo is breezy and the location is good.

Great condo - really appreciated having 2 double beds in the loft area to accomodate our girl/boy teens (it's actually difficult to find that set up). Kitchen was very well equipped; the only suggestion is to add a pancake griddle. There was an infestation of ants in the main bath (tub) and a saturday morning call to management was unreturned (a little disappointing), so I purchased ant traps to use (might be nice to have on hand)as ants seemed to be an issue even though the condo was clean. There were also no extra bags for the large trash which I thought was curious. The patio table is warped and wobbly - impossible to enjoy a meal because drinks would be dumped with the slightest movement. Otherwise, we were VERY satisfied with our stay and would stay again.

nice unit with a loft
This was a nice unit & the loft made it very nice b/c we have two children. There is a wonderful crossdraft betw the mstr bdrm and the LR. The pools in the complex were also great. Problems included no can opener, slow drain in the hall bath and the toilet in the master bath kept refilling throughout the night which was kind of annoying.

I love the location and property at Turtle bay. The condo's are affordable and in pretty good condition. The carpets should be shampoo'd because there are two small blood stains in the master bedroom. But overall, the condo was clean and comfortable.

A Very Nice Property
We found this property to be very nice during our one-week stay. Owning a coastal property in California that is rented out, we know the difficulties in keeping it in good shape and inviting for guests; the owner of this property has done an excellent job. We appreciated very much the added bonus of two available beach chairs. The only recommendations I have for the owners are to replace the drapes in the downstairs bedroom (several rips and they don't close all the way to the wall) and either repair or remove the A/C unit in the living room (with the excellent airflow and a unit in the bedroom, I don't know how necessary the second unit is). Thank you for helping to make the week a wonderful stay! We would definitely stay in this same unit again.

My daughter lives in hawaii and I wanted her to feel as though she came to may home away from home we cooked indoors we barbaqued at the pool we swam we had a great time and we felt like she and her family couldcome over and feel like they were coming home. Thank you

We were very happy with the rental. The living room a/c unit wasn't working, and the main bathroom's tub/shower had no water (these should be fixed), but this was not an inconvenience for us; we needed neither. If we were to return to Oahu, we would be happy to stay in the unit again.

Wedding Weekend
The location and ease of the Turtle Bay Estates really helped us through my friend's wedding weekend on the north shore. The room we stayed in had enough air conditioning that the bridal party was able to get ready in the condo. It was nice and quiet the entire weekend.

This condo just needs a littlr more comfy furniture to lounge on while home. Otherwise the place was great. Loved the bedroom loft[needs a bathroom] and breezes flowed thru nicely for comfort with help of fan from office that the girls let me use for my stay. As for those "Girls", I would marry any one of them if I didn't already have a wife. They are absolutely the finest people that I have dealt with in my fifteen years of working in Hawaii. The BEST!!
